No Passport Travelers

Filed under: travel — errolllevant @ 8:52 pm

We just returned from a trip to Dominica. There were 17 on the trip and four of them were among the thousands who did not get their passports before their date of departure, despite applying twelve weeks ahead of time. They printed out the form from the Immigration people stating that they had applied for a passpost and were allowed to travel. As you might expect, it took more time at Immigration Desks and airline counters, and one guy in particular, in Dominica, did not want to accept the paperwork.

Rocky Mountaineer Train Trips

Filed under: travel — errolllevant @ 12:54 am

I was watching Wheel of Fortune a couple of days ago when one of the prizes was a <a href=” http://rockymountaineer.com/“> Train Trip in
Canada</a>. It looked very interesting, so I went online to see more about it! You can take various lengths of trips, from three day to twelve day trips. They originate in
Vancouver and stop each night so that travelers get to see all the majestic scenery that the trains pass.
There are two levels of service, Red Leaf and Gold Leaf. The Red Leaf service provides seats that swivel and have extended legroom and other amenities. The Gold Leaf service gives travelers the same kind of seating, but in a specially designed coach with a full length domed observation level! Check out the link above if you want to see the photo gallery or the video presentation of the Rocky Mountaineer!
